Poolesville Seniors has a lovely Poolesville streetscape color print on stretched canvas from Robert Brown, the longtime owner of the Frame and Art Gallery in the Frederick Poole House. The print will be available in the Heart ‘n Soul online auction fundraiser starting February 11th.
We are searching for more information on Mr. Brown’s life as an artist.
Please send us any information you have on Mr. Brown and his shop. Both were fixtures in the community and important resources for local artists of any level.
Bev Thoms’ family has lived on their 60-acre Dickerson sheep farm in the Agricultural Reserve of Montgomery County since 1974.
The farm went through several incarnations before the operation eventually transitioned to raising a flock of fiber sheep. The exquisitely beautiful fiber harvested from this flock led Bev into spinning yarn, weaving clothing and blankets, and to her passion — felt making.

We are very excited about the PS! Book Club for 2022. We had an excellent group of regular and occasional participants in 2021. We all agreed that the club expanded our reading choices to include some books we might not ordinarily have chosen but were grateful to have read.
