Calling all local neighbors, artists, and visionaries! Help shape a new public art project for your Poolesville community.
Story Tapestries and Riverworks Art Center are inviting community members to participate in a series of hands-on public art workshops this fall. Together, we will talk about Poolesville, the stories and places that matter here, and what we want public art in our community to reflect.
You do not need to be an artist to participate. Meetings are open to everyone. Come talk, sketch, build, make, and share ideas, listen, ask questions, and get inspired. If you’d like to submit work for consideration in the final selection, attendance at all three meetings is required.
Mark your calendars:
Monday, October 26, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Riverworks Studio at Alden Farms
Wednesday, November 4, 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Riverworks Studio at Alden Farms
Sunday, November 8, 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Poolesville Town Hall Meeting Room
Let’s create something beautiful for Poolesville, together. See you there!
