Data from the Farm and Agriculture Organization shows that women make up about 40% of the global agrifood workforce, yet rural women face disproportionate barriers. Closing these gaps could raise global GDP by USD 1 trillion and reduce food insecurity for 45 million people.
Nominate yourself or a woman farmer in your life to be featured on the official landing page and social media channels. Each month, one featured farmer will be highlighted statewide, and her story will be shared with the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) for national recognition.
