The Program Assistant is responsible for event attendance tracking, managing the organization’s phone and email inquiries, providing event support, and other administrative duties as assigned. This is a part-time contractor position. 

Principal Duties 

  • Collect, track and analyze event attendance results. Create and distribute attendance sheets and collect attendance sheets following the events. Log results and produce monthly attendance summaries and other attendee analyses.
  • Manage phone and email inquiries. Monitor the organization’s general inbox and respond to / process inquiries as required. Respond to phone messages.
  • Monitor the organization’s calendar and organizational meetings.
  • Share responsibility with the Program Manager for setting up and attending events (1 to 2 events per week), making introductions, and taking pictures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Reports To: Poolesville Seniors Program Manager 

Qualifications 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.

Work Schedule 

  • This is a part-time, primarily remote position; however, the role requires regular in-person visits to events in Poolesville, Maryland.
  • 5-10 hours per week.
