The 2026 Annual Summer Picnic for Seniors hosted by Independent Order of Odd Fellows Poolesville Lodge #97 is back on June 20th. This special afternoon for seniors 55+ happens each June, and it has been going on so long no one remembers when it started! The Odd Fellows was founded over 160 years ago as an aide society. This indoor picnic is open to anyone over 55. Join us at Memorial United Methodist Church, 17821 Elgin Rd. (109). 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
If you have neighbors, relatives, or friends who might enjoy socializing at this delicious free lunch, register and bring them to this longstanding Poolesville tradition. The menu will feature Fried Chicken, Beef Brisket, Sides, non-alcoholic drinks, and dessert.
