Join Jamie Platt of Dancing Planet on July 30th as he introduces us to a variety of accessible Balkan dances. This fun evening of dance will begin at 7:00 PM. Each of the dances will be taught and led by Jamie, who will provide a great selection of tunes to get you moving. No partner or skill is necessary. Dress comfortably to dance and have fun!
This will be the first time that Jamie brings his enthusiasm for Dance to the Poolesville Seniors. When not in Poolesville you can find him at Glen Echo on Wednesday evenings (and more) where he has been leading dance with The Glen Echo Folk Dancers since 1983. Here you will find a very welcoming atmosphere, lots of great music and dancing and, most importantly, great people with which to share an evening.
