Join Jumpin Joe Phillips on Thursday, January 25th at 2:00 p.m. for a musical blast-from-the-past when he entertains us with hits from the Motown era: The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Martha & The Vandella’s & lots more as well as jazz standards, blues, and R&B. In person at Speer Hall. 17800 Elgin Rd. (109). 

Jumpin’ Joe has performed on the road for over 30 years as a guitar player/bandleader with well-known music acts, such as Barry White, The Stylistics, The Drifters, The Platters, The Delfonics, and many others.    

In his retirement, he started his own music business performing for seniors and mature audiences the classic hits of Motown from The Temptations, The Four Tops, Smokey Robinson & The Miracles, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Stevie Wonder, Martha & The Vandella’s, and the hits of The Drifters, The Platters & more.   

“Jumpin Joe” is also the band leader of The Winstons Band that is well known for keeping memories of the classic hit song “Color Him Father” Alive. 

For the month of January, we are collecting nonperishable food items for the Little Free Pantry and Backpack Bites programs administered by Poolesville Presbyterian Church, the generous venue host for most of our in-person events. These efforts are aiding food insecure families and children in our area. Click on each to get the wish list.
