September 30th – Poolesville Big Flea Saturday – Whalen Commons -Large Community Yard Sale and Recycling Event including paper shredding, paint disposal & electronics recycling. 8:00 a.m. to Noon

October 6th – Montgomery Soccerplex – Walking Soccer – Four Friday Sessions beginning 10/6 Either 11:00 a.m. or 6:00 p.m. $60 or Drop in $15 CLICK HERE TO REGISTER

October 6thRiverworks Art Center – First Fridays “Made -in-Studio“- Cyanotype with Ellen Letourneau and Pam Heemskerk. No Experience necessary. Materials included. Session cost $20. 12 – 4:00 p.m.  

October 12th -15th — Countryside Artisans Fall Tour – 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Fri – Sun.

October 21st– RocktoberFest – Annual Fall Festival featuring live music, local breweries, and plenty of kids activities! No Stop Light under the tent from 2-4 and Front Page on the bandshell from 4-6!

October 22nd – Montgomery County Lynching Memorial Project (MoCoLMP) – Mr. George Peck Marker Dedication– Poolesville Presbyterian Church 17800 Elgin Road On the grass by the gazebo – 3-5 p.mhistorical marker memorializing 1880 Poolesville lynching victim George Peck –  Register Reception to follow at Locals.

October 31st – Poolesville Trick or Treating – 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. 

November 3rd – Riverworks Art Center – First Fridays “Made -in-Studio“- Painting What You See with Betsy Casaleno. No Experience necessary. Materials included. Session costs $20. 12 – 4:00 p.m. 

November 11th – Poolesville Veterans Day Celebration – Whalen Commons@ 11am – Open to all.

November 11th – 9th Annual Owl Moon Raptor Center Festival – Black Hill Regional Park – Raptor education programs, flight demonstrations, and kid-friendly creative activities will be available throughout the day. Noon – 4:00 p.m.

December 1st – Poolesville Holiday Tree Lighting – 6 – 9:00 p.m.

December 7th –9th Poolesville High School Fall Play-Thursday and Friday at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.

December 15 – 17 Holiday Lighting Contest – Classic, Traditional, Townhouse. Business.

May 4th 2024 – SpringFest – Annual BBQ, Beer, & Blues Festival – Whalen Commons – 2:00 – 7:00 p.m.

May 11th 2024 — Richard S. McKernon Youth Fishing Tournament at Stevens Park Pond – 9-11:00 a.m. All youths between the ages of 6 and 16 are invited to come on out and “catch some fun”. Cost is $1.00 and the event is held rain or shine.

June – August 2024 – Stevens Park Summer Recreation Program – 9:30 a.m. -3:30 p.m.

July 4th 2024 – Poolesville Fireworks Celebration – Join our community in celebrating our national patriotism at the Soccer Fields off of Hughes Road! There will be music, food, fireworks and fun! Gates open at 5 pm.

Poolesville Baptist Church food distribution on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. and Bread distribution on Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. 

All are welcome to join the Poolesville Green “Carbon Footprint Challenge” a monthly drop-in zoom meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the Month, to learn to reduce your carbon footprint.
