November 29th – Deadline to sponsor a veteran’s wreath for the ‘Wreath Across America” event on  December 18th (see below). Please volunteer to place them on Veteran’s graves, locally at  Monocacy Cemetery.

December 3rd – Whalen Commons Winter Wonderland – Poolesville Holiday Lighting Ceremony – Holiday Express Train, Ice Sculpting, Caroling, WUMCO Toy Collection, Letters to Santa,  Bandshell Entertainment, and tree lighting at 7p.m. No indoor activities. 6:00p.m. – 8:00 p.m. 

December 3rd-5th – Christmas Tree Sale – Trees, wreaths, and roping for sale to the public – Our Lady of  the Presentation Church. Decorated wreaths available. 

December 4th – Memorial United Methodist Church – IOOF #97 – Christmas Luncheon for Senior  Citizens of Greater Poolesville Area. Canceled 

December 18th – Monocacy Cemetery – Wreaths Across America will be at Monocacy Cemetery to  remember and honor our veterans through the laying of Remembrance wreaths on the graves  of our country’s fallen heroes and the act of saying the name of each and every veteran  aloud. 12:00 p.m.
