What’s in Season?

If you are trying to eat local, in-season produce, then you need to know what is available locally for your farm-to-table recipes. Other produce is available from out of the area or from hot house growers. Here is a list of fruits and vegetables available from our local Fall harvest. 

October-APPLES (Fuji, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Honey Crisp Red Delicious, Rome, York, and Stayman), BEANS, BROCCOLI, CABBAGE, GREENS, HERBS, PEARS (Asian Pears, Bartlett, Bosc, Magness), SUMMER SQUASH, SWEET POTATOES, TOMATOES,  WATERMELONS, WINTER SQUASH 

November – BROCCOLI, CABBAGE
