Thanks to Michelle Roche for leading the lively and thoughtful discussion of our March PS Book Club selection, Praying for Sheetrock by Melissa Fay Greene. This was a particularly powerful work of nonfiction about social injustice and racial prejudice in a small southern community in the latter half of the last century. During the hour-long discussion, several of the attendees were able to bring stories of discrimination and prejudice from their personal experience into the conversation which resulted in a particularly enlightening session.

Join us on April 25th at 7pm for a venture into the Speculative Fiction genre with Matt Haig’s novel, The Midnight Library.
