Join Poolesville Seniors and local historian Kenny Sholes on May 20 @7pm for another HISTORIC AG RESERVE PROPERTIES presentation. Kenny will discuss properties in the Eastern Ag Reserve. Dotting this landscape is an array of impressive historic homes – standing as visual reminders of those who came before us.
Kenny was born and raised in Poolesville, in the heart of the Agricultural Reserve. After graduating from West Point in 2006, Kenny served as a US Army officer for five years, to include two deployments to Iraq. Kenny is the creator of Foundry Admissions Strategies, a small consultancy focused on helping high school students in rural America gain admission to our country’s best colleges. Now living in Poolesville with his wife and two children, Kenny is busy exploring Agricultural Reserve history and serves as a board member for the Montgomery Countryside Alliance. Kenny has an undergraduate degree in Economics from the US Military Academy at West Point, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from Princeton University.
