The Program Assistant is responsible for event attendance tracking, managing the organization’s phone and email inquiries, providing event support, and other administrative duties as assigned. This is a part-time contractor position.
Principal Duties
- Collect, track and analyze event attendance results. Create and distribute attendance sheets and collect attendance sheets following the events. Log results and produce monthly attendance summaries and other attendee analyses.
- Manage phone and email inquiries. Monitor the organization’s general inbox and respond to / process inquiries as required. Respond to phone messages.
- Monitor the organization’s calendar and organizational meetings.
- Share responsibility with the Program Manager for setting up and attending events (1 to 2 events per week), making introductions, and taking pictures.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Reports To: Poolesville Seniors Program Manager
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Proven ability to take initiative and work both independently and collaboratively.
Work Schedule
- This is a part-time, primarily remote position; however, the role requires regular in-person visits to events in Poolesville, Maryland.
- 5-10 hours per week.
