Brain Injury Awareness Month is observed throughout March, led by the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA) and other organizations across the United States.
The month highlights the experiences of millions living with brain injuries, ranging from mild concussions to severe traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), and emphasizes the importance of prevention, education, and advocacy.
For more information, join us for Brain Injury 101 on March 26 from 1-2 pm with Angel Benson of the Briain Injury Association of Maryland whose virtual presentation is an overview of brain injury, and will help participants understand the challenges survivors may face and how to provide meaningful support.
