July 26th – 150th Annual Chicken Dinner and Fair – St. Mary's Parish and Shrine, 18230 Barnesville Rd. featuring their famous grilled chicken and delicious sides, (eat in or take out), cake stand, raffle, outdoor fair for kids of all ages, and demonstrations of Maryland's official sport–Jousting. Beginning at Noon until the chicken runs out.
August 6th – Poolesville Community Dinner – A longstanding tradition, the free Community Dinner is hosted on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church (PMUMC) will host the dinner August 6th, October 1st, and December 3rd. St. Peter's Episcopal Church will host on May 7th, July 2nd, September 3rd, and November 5th. Each month, people from across the spectrum of humanity come together to prepare, share, chat, eat, and be one with each other.
