If you are 18 or older and in need of health services, you will want to know about the Free Community Health Clinics sponsored by WUMCO Help in partnership with Care for Your Health, Inc. After a pilot program that included health screenings on Poolesville Day, WUMCO is rolling out regularly scheduled clinics for those who are insured as well as the uninsured.
The clinics will provide Primary Care, Annual Checkups, Sick Visits, Prescription Refills, and Lab Work* at the Poolesville Memorial United Methodist Church, 17821 Elgin Rd. (109), next to the WUMCO Help office from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11th and Saturday, January 21st.
You can walk in or call Care for Your Health at 240-248-8583 to make an appointment. If you have transportation difficulties, ask about the free transportation possibilities when you call for an appointment.
Check for further appointments on the WUMCO Facebook page or watch the Poolesville Seniors Community Activities feature in our Monday Postscript newsletter.
*Saturday Lab Work must be done before 10:00 a.m. for timely weekend processing.
