A creative tableau of scarecrows is on view at Whalen Commons for the 2024 Poolesville Community Scarecrow Contest. Despite a slow start, this may be the most entries you have ever had to choose from. Poolesville Seniors’ volunteers put together a Scarecrow display inspired by the PS entry in the MoCo Senior Cardboard Boat Regatta in March.
The “Poolesville Seniors Yacht Club” exhibit BC106 shows two scarecrows paddling a raft across the Potomac River. They may be in search of the Ferry.
Bring the whole family to see our entry and all the others while strolling through the park. Get your picture taken with our paddlers or while posing as Mr. Pickle!
All the scarecrows are on view at Whalen Commons during October. Vote online starting 10/16th through 10/30th on the Poolesville Community Scarecrow Contest Facebook page. Rally your friends and family to vote for the Poolesville Seniors scarecrows BC106 in the Business/Community Organization category.
When voting, do not forget to vote for a favorite in both categories, Business/Community Organization and Individual/Family.
