Thank you to Kenny Sholes for his February Ag Reserve Properties presentation on the Dickerson quarries. We heard about their history, going back to the 1800s when they provided curbstone for DC streets and curbs.
The quarries had a tragic history both during their active operation until the 1930s and since.
