On Monday January 8th a representative from the Montgomery County Aging and Disability Resource Unit ADRU will be at the Maggie Nightingale Library from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon to answer questions from older adults, people with disabilities and caregivers related to housing, transportation, staying healthy and more.
The ADRU representative will be here in Poolesville as part of a MoCo outreach to our area. They can help you find the correct resources to help you with whatever problems you are experiencing.
Please find the time to come out and let the county know which resources are needed yet unavailable or too distant from the Poolesville area to be useful or convenient. They will be here to listen to our needs and help us find the resources we need.
Make a date to attend with other seniors, persons with disabilities or caretakers. Offer a ride to a neighbor or friend, or carpool to this informational event. If you don’t ask for what you need, no one will give it to you!
A representative from ADRU will be at the Maggie Nightingale Library on the second Monday of each month to answer your questions and serve our community on 01/8, 02/12, 03/11, 04/8
