Please join Montgomery Countryside Alliance on Sunday, September 15th anniversary of the Ride the Reserve, the Montgomery County Farm Tour Bike Ride which benefits the Ag Reserve and the quest to protect this special place. The 2024 Ride the Reserve event theme “Ride like the Reserve depends on it”. Riders can choose from routes from 6 to 62 miles through quiet, rolling landscapes dotted with the Reserve’s orchards, red barns, and silos. You’ll enjoy quiet roads, rural vistas, and landscapes. Many routes include views of Sugarloaf Mountain.

Sugarloaf Citizen’s Association (SCA) Linden Farm signature picnic in Dickerson is the starting and ending point for routes through the Reserve’s Rustic Roads.

Each ride includes a gourmet picnic boxed lunch at the finish at Linden Farm, and a pop-up Artisan and Farmers Market open to the public. There will also be food trucks with food and dessert options available for purchase.

Some of the longer routes have refueling spots on farms. Be sure to see the products of Reserve farms at ride’s end with a pop-up farmers, bakers, and artisan market that also includes music, face painting and family fun.  The market is open to all.

Registration is OPEN. Beginner and experienced riders are welcome!
