Friday evening Poolesville Seniors, family and friends enjoyed a wonderful time at Poolesville’s Seneca Polo Club. The weather was perfect for this event where over 35 people gathered to eat, drink and be merry. New friends were made, old friendships were revived, and conversation and laughter rang out. Kate and Wayne Briere were our hosts and Holly Stein provided our Polo 101 instruction. Some got up close and personal with one of the horses and practiced their mallet swing. We picnicked, socialized, and cheered on every goal with enthusiasm. This was a great opportunity for many polo newbies to enjoy an unfamiliar sport in great company.
