Today is the last day to enter the Poolesville Holiday Lighting Contest!
Home is where you hang your lights, so get in the holiday spirit and dazzle your friends and neighborhood with your decorations!
This year the Town of Poolesville is hosting a new style of Holiday Lighting Contest. The contest is open to all Poolesville residents and businesses. If you would like to participate in the contest, please register your home or business. Registration forms must be received by December 15th.
Town Hall will compile the entries and put together a map for drive-by viewing of all homes and businesses registered to compete. The community will vote for a winner in each category.

Griswold Award – Best use of lights
Misfit Toy Award – Best use of inflatables
Home for the Holidays Award – Best traditional
Candy Cane Lane – Best overall theme
Merry Marketplace – Business with the merriest Holiday spirit
