2024-10-02T15:21:45-04:00

October, Global Diversity Awareness Month, presents the perfect opportunity to learn more about new cultures, and explore the diversity that makes the world such a wonderful place.

As the world becomes more and more connected and globalized, it’s important to remember that a ‘global monoculture’, or a homogenization of cultures, can overshadow traditional cultures and unique traits of people. Embracing cultural diversity – in all aspects of life – can help to avoid […]

Yom Kippur

2024-10-02T15:13:06-04:00

Our vintage 1963 Schwinn Tandem Buke was a big hit and found a good home after our drawing.

We would like to thank all those who volunteered for us and made this day fun.

The program provides supplemental food for the weekend to families on the Free and Reduced Meals (FaRM) program. The FaRM program at Montgomery County schools provides free or reduced cost breakfast and lunch to children from low-income families. This ensures that those children have at least two meals on school days.

NOAA Explains Seasons
