Join Tom Medema, Poolesville resident and co-founder of Rally for Rangers, on December 9th at 7:00pm to explore the adventure and impact of helping the world’s park rangers. In far-flung places like Mongolia, Nepal, and Patagonia, park rangers are on the front lines protecting the world’s most special places from poachers, development, and other threats. Too often the protectors lack the equipment and gear they need to do their important work safely and effectively. Rally for Rangers is changing that by bringing new motorcycles and other gear to the men and women patrolling protected areas in these remote and often dangerous places. He will share photos and videos of the incredible journeys through these distant lands to protect our planet.
