Join authors Claudia Kousoulas and Ellen Letourneau on August 4th at 7pm when they interpret the history of the Ag Reserve and Montgomery County and the effects of that history on the culinary legacy of the area. From the earliest Native Americans to European farmers, to the Quakers, and even the Marriott Corporation, our history has shaped our culinary tastes. 

The passion of these co-authors for the Ag Reserve is exhibited in their two books, A Culinary History of Montgomery County, and Bread & Beauty, A Year in Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve. They are both treasure troves of area history, interwoven with beautiful photography and cherished local recipes.
