Ms. Patricia Dorn, PIR, of our Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA) will educate us with a slide show and Q and A about the various types of insurance available in Maryland with an emphasis on Senior needs.
Patricia Dorn is designated as an Insurance Regulator Professional by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. She is a lead staffer in the Consumer Education and Advocacy Unit of the Maryland Insurance Administration (MIA). Before joining MIA in 2012, Ms. Dorn worked for the Baltimore County Senior Health Insurance Program. Pre-Covid19, she represented MIA throughout Maryland assisting consumers with all manner of insurance issues and now continues her travels virtually.
