Montgomery Connects has announced that Montgomery County has received a federal grant to provide 40,000 computers for residents who do not have access to a computer. There is a limit of 1 computer per person and every person receiving a computer must have a library card number to make an individual appointment to pick up a computer and must show photo ID at pick-up. If a parent wants a computer for themselves and also wants one for their children, the parent and each child must have separate appointments and photo IDs. This program is only open to Montgomery County residents ages 7 and older.
Please read the requirements before making an appointment. There are 200 computers available at each event and many events are filled already.
