Join Pat Taylor who is an independent Mortgage Banking Consultant and teaches classes for the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) including the School of Mortgage Servicing. Pat will explain mortgages, their aggregate parts as well as the securitization of loans in the US. Understanding the Covid era programs that were developed to help keep people in their homes and that have been extended in some cases, will be described as well. Understanding where assistance is available and discovering who a borrower needs to work will be the focus if they are in danger of defaulting. Pat will open up the floor for questions and discussion to help us better understand programs that are offered by mortgage companies and servicers.
