The Button Farm Living History Center is having their first Juneteenth race! Proceeds from the race, put on by Bishop’s Events, will benefit The Menare Foundation in support of their programs and operations. Their primary project, The Button Farm, is Maryland’s only living history center depicting 19th-century plantation life, and is situated on 40 acres, inside Seneca Creek State Park.

Bishop’s Events was launched in 2011 with the mission of giving back to others. They provide area runners with high quality races that benefit local and national charity organizations. Twenty-five percent of the race profits are returned to the specific charity benefactor They partner with outside organizations to time their events.
