The federal government is making free at-home Covid tests available through a US Post office web site. Go to COVIDtests.gov – Free at-home COVID-19 tests for information or directly to the USPS site COVID Home Tests | USPS to order 4 tests completely free.
We will update this space with a phone number for those without internet access when it is made available.
Tests should ship within 7-12 days of placing the order, meaning the earliest you will receive a test kit is the end of January. The site will ask for your name and mailing address. If desired, you can share your email to receive updates on the progress of your order.
The government will also be making available free N95/KN95 masks. Details are not yet available. Poolesville Seniors will post this information when it is available.
The Poolesville Commissioners were able to secure free at-home Covid testing kits and masks that were distributed in town twice in the last week. Please monitor the town website and official Facebook page for further information about tests or masks.
Please remember to report your positive test results to the Montgomery County Self-Test Reporting Portal. Or scan the QR code on the Town’s official Facebook page.
