Calling all baseball lovers from 9 months to 99 years! Join us for our first in-person evening on Tuesday April 5th at 7 pm. Come and meet Bill “Bat Boy” Turner and Ed “Boy in the Scoreboard” Baruch from the 1956 Washington Senators Baseball Season for this family friendly romp through baseball history from their unique perspectives. They will share their up-close and personal experiences from the 1956 season and memories of some of baseball’s greats Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, Willie Mays, and Yogi Berra. Learn secrets, and insights into the Dugout, Bullpen, Clubhouse, On-the-Field Experiences, as well as tales from the 1956 All-Star Game at Griffith Stadium in Washington, DC. They will do demonstrations and share rare film clips.
