Join the PS! Book Club on October 17th at 7:00 pm, to discuss the historical novel “The Kitchen Front” by Jennifer Ryan. In World War II Britain, a new BBC radio program called “The Kitchen Front” is searching for a female co-host using a unique cooking contest. Four contestants, a young widow, a kitchen maid, a lady of the manor, and a trained chef must create recipes using only their ration allotments.
Each woman thinks that winning will change their lives. But with so much at stake, will the contest bring the community together or break it apart?
