Join us for a curated sing-along on Wednesday, November 20th at 3:00 pm featuring hits from the 50’s through the 70’s. You know these songs, and if you can’t remember all the lyrics, no problem – the words will be projected on our big 100” screen.
Singing is a natural antidepressant! You might not realize it while you’re warbling in the shower, but there are a number of health benefits to singing, including stress relief, better lung function, and improved posture. Heck, even humming along to a song can lift your spirits. Even if you don’t want to sing, you will love listening to the songs! Come sit, socialize and try singing along!
Our organizers, Kay Douglas, Ann Connor, and Wendy Smith will lead the singing (and possibly dancing), peppering the session with trivia questions (with prizes!) related to the songs.
Location: Poolesville Presbyterian Church Speer Hall –17800 Elgin Road, Poolesville MD 20837
