When it comes to your utility bill, you may be spending more than you want to. The Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection’s Residential Energy Program exists to help you demystify your utility bill and show you ways to save energy and money in your home. You don’t want to miss this workshop! Participants can receive at least one energy saving measure for their home like a refrigerator thermometer or shower timer.
Larissa Johnson is the Residential Energy Program Manager for Montgomery County Department of Environmental Protection where she manages the Montgomery Energy Connection network and website (www.MontgomeryEnergyConnection.org). For the last twenty years, Larissa has dedicated her life to working with and for communities; receiving her MPA from Columbia University Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affair and since energy is the main contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, she works to educate people in an entertaining, engaging way on the connections between energy and our planet.
