Laura Bechtel, Maggie Nightingale Library’s Acting Senior Librarian, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in Information Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to Maryland, Laura was employed at the Butt-Holdsworth Library in Kerrville, Texas, from December 2010 until July 2020.
