Are you looking for a great way to spend this weekend? Mark your calendar for the Countryside Artisans Spring Gallery/Studio Tour from 10 am to 5pm starting Friday April 22 through 24. Meet the artists, see where they work, and learn about their medium.

Each of the 19 locations on the tour is within a 30-mile radius of Sugarloaf Mountain, a highlight of Montgomery County’s Agricultural Reserve, and offers an alternative to in-store shopping year-round. Each April, October, and December, the Countryside Artisans jointly open their galleries and studios for special art tours.

The Countryside Artisans represent a select group of accomplished visual, sculptural, and textile artists living and working in both historic and rural areas of Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick Counties of Maryland. Here you will find artists offering an array of artwork, mediums and gifts for every occasion.

All of the artists are busy working throughout the year and look forward to your visit during this special open studio Spring tour. Visit the Artists link to see examples of artwork and to find contact information for individual artists and studios. Download the map and the list of Spring tour venues here.
