Keep Warm with the Ukraine Hearts Quilt

Members of the Village Piecemakers Quilt Guild, came together recently to make a heart quilt and raffle it off to raise funds for Ukraine. The Poolesville Presbyterian Church generously provided the use of Speer Hall for the project. John Poole House Opens to the Public

The John Poole House, the oldest building in Poolesville, was built by John Poole, Jr. In 1793. The building served as a trading post for traveling merchants and local families. In 1810 it housed Poolesville’s first U.S. Post Office.
