Thank you to Michelle Roche and her group of faithful readers who discussed The Dry by Jan Harper, at the August PS Book Club meeting. Everyone enjoyed this Australian murder mystery set in a small town and the main character Aaron Falk, a former resident, who returns for a funeral and becomes the default crime investigator. Delving into the pluses and minuses of life in this small Australian town evoked nostalgic discussions of our lives in Poolesville. We recommend that you read this book before you watch the movie.
