Join us for an in-person Quarterly Event on June 7th at 2 pm as award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar Mary Ann Jung brings us her fascinating History Alive show SALLY RIDE-REACH FOR THE STARS! This lively program has delighted audiences at the Kennedy Space Center and the National Air and Space Museum. Blast off for adventure with Dr. Sally Ride, America’s first female astronaut, and learn about her 1983 journey and its challenges. Then in the game show portion the whole audience can guess odd, surprising facts about life in zero gravity aboard the space shuttle. It’s out of this world fun! 

Mary Ann Jung is an award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar. She has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, and in newspapers around the world. She has been a lead actress and Director of Renaissance History and Shakespearean Language at the Maryland Renaissance Festival for over 30 years.  Ms. Jung researches and writes her own scripts, and performs in the authentic costume, accents, and attitudes for her characters’ eras.
