Nine Perfect Strangers is a psychological thriller described by many as a real page turner. Nine people gather at a remote health resort for various reasons. The expected ten days of pampering, luxury, meditation and mindfulness, turn out to be more challenging than any of them could have imagined. As the days pass, our main character, former best-selling romantic novelist Frances Welty, begins to have doubts, wondering if she should try to enjoy the luxuries that are offered or run while she still can.
Liane Moriarty is a full-time, best-selling, Australian author living in Sydney with her husband and their two children. She has written eight novels including Big Little Lies, which was adapted into a television series for HBO. Nine Perfect Strangers is also adapted into a television series released August 18, 2021.
