What is Pickleball? Join Poolesville’s own Patty Walker, one of ten MoCo Pickleball Ambassadors, on August 3rd at 6:30 pm for a hands-on, in-person, Beginners’ Pickleball Clinic. Learn the basics of this fastest growing sport in the country, including how to serve, dink, score, and other basic elements of play. Our 12-person capacity has been filled. Patty Walker began playing pickleball in 2013 and is now a true fan. She was introduced to the sport when she was visiting friends in Delaware. At the time, pickleball was not so widespread as now and she encountered problems finding both places and playing partners in Montgomery County. Times have changed!
Patty is now one of about 10 Montgomery County Pickleball Ambassadors. These Ambassadors help the county in promoting pickleball in our communities. Patty has played in several tournaments and has a USAPA player rating of 4.0 (in other words, she is really good!). Come join us and learn to play!
