We will tour the barn; explore the different methods used in milking cows; “milk” a faux cow; churn butter; make a cow-themed craft; learn about the history of the MOOseum’s farm family; learn about the transportation of milk and view a video on dairy farming today. The museum will only be open to our Poolesville Seniors group on this visit, so this is your chance to learn about local dairy farming at the MOOseum in a small group setting. The tour will take about 2 hours.
