PS! Book Club: The Diamond Eye

Loading Events

Join the PS! Book Club on June 26th when we discuss The Diamond Eye, a historical fiction work by Kate Quinn, the New York Times bestselling author. This is the unforgettable World War II tale of a quiet bookworm history student, Lyudmila Pavlichenko,  who became one of the first Soviet female snipers, and history’s deadliest female sniper. It is based on a true story.

Because of the Juneteenth holiday, the Book Club meeting has been moved one week to June 26th.

Kate Quinn is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of historical fiction. A native of southern California, she attended Boston University where she earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Classical Voice. She has written four novels in the Empress of Rome Saga, and two books in the Italian Renaissance, before turning to the 20th century with “The Alice Network”, “The Huntress,” “The Rose Code,” and “The Diamond Eye.” All have been translated into multiple languages. Kate and her husband now live in San Diego.
