Due to the ongoing pandemic, we haven’t been able to enjoy our Quarterly Socials. But wait, maybe we can do it virtually!!!
Poolesville Seniors will host a Virtual Quarterly Social with award-winning actress and Smithsonian Scholar, Mary Ann Jung. Mary Ann will present live, via Zoom, a portrayal of Elizabeth Cady Stanton, a leading figure in the Women’s Suffrage, Women’s Rights, and Equal Rights Movements of the 19th Century—a topic which is all the more profound as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of ratification of the 19th Amendment on August 18th.
At the conclusion of the performance, Mary Ann will answer questions from the virtual audience in attendance. In order to attend this event, you’ll need a device with the Zoom application on it. More information will be on our website and Facebook page.
